OUR STORY

Maluchi Centre

Maluchi Centre was created by Toni Clermont, BCBA. Toni is the Clinical Supervisor and she has a Masters in Applied Disability Studies with a focus on Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and over 15 years of experience working with children with special needs.

Toni initially created Maluchi Centre (formally known as Maluchi Early ABA Centre) in 2016, in order to fill a gap in behavioural services for toddlers and preschool children who were showing signs of delays in their early development. This gap was due to the late diagnoses of Autism and Maluchi Centre was open to any children whether they had a diagnosis or not.

Throughout the years and the changes in the government funding, Maluchi Centre has turned into an in-home ABA therapy center. Each client receives 1:1 ABA therapy in their homes by ABA therapist who are registered behaviour technicians (RBT), or in the process of completing their RBT training while being supervised by a Board Certified Behaviour Analysis (BCBA). Each family receives an assessment, behaviour plan and continuous contact with the BCBA to insure that the needs of both the child and their families are being met and the child is successful in their programing.

Maluchi Centre's goal has always been and still is to see each child where they are at and to help them learn and grow based on their particular needs and wants.
